Sundance uses the
highest-grade spring steel available, quality commercial-grade
balloon jumbo springs, tapered springs and straight springs. A
good spring should go back to its normal stretched size when the
trampoline is not in use.
How
to test a spring
1. Hold it by one end and shake it. If it's stiff, it's probably
still in good working condition.
2. Pull a spring from both ends. Compare with other springs. The
ones that are softer when pulled should probably be replaced.
3. Check if the coils are quite close together. If they are spread
out, the spring is blown out and needs replacing.
4.
If the spring is rusty it can still be usable. As long as the
spring tests OK, then it makes no difference if the spring is
rusty or not.
If
you do need to order new springs, we will need to know the size
of your springs. Measure the spring from the end of one hook to
the end of the other hook.
