Safety and the Trampoline
The
first, most important factor in safe trampoline use is to have
proper safety rules. It can not be left to children to determine
what is safe. Based on 50 years of experience, Sundance's opinion
is:
-
There
should never be more than one person on a trampoline. This includes
children!
-
Do not jump without owner's permission.
-
Always
use safety pads to reduce risk of injury from contact with metal
frame.
-
Use
only with responsible adult supervision.
-
Do
NOT attempt somersaults

| Are
trampolines more dangerous than other activities? Do
your children cycle, skateboard, rollerblade, ski, snowboard or participate
in high contact sports? If "yes" is the answer, then they
are already participating in sports that can be more dangerous than
using trampolines. Most parents tell us they would rather see their
children bouncing on trampolines in their own backyards, because they
can supervise them. |
